About Us 

Lida Credit Agency was founded as a credit bureau in 1929 and was incorporated in New York in 1961. Since its founding, LIDA has provided public and private sector clients and financial institutions with exemplary service in the fields of background, credit, and criminal investigations, maintaining and thriving despite evolving and changing industry regulations, such as when the Fair Credit Reporting Act was initiated in 1971. 

In 2013, Lida Credit Agency was re-branded as Lida Strategic Solutions by LIDA President Sarah Romig, and Vice President Christopher Farrell, to modernize the company and advertise the new services that we provide. LIDA investigators have an average of 5-10 years of experience and undergo quarterly retraining to ensure that all our investigators are aware of new regulations and any new resources that can be utilized. Mr. Farrell personally tracks regulation changes through notifications from the Association of Certified Background Investigators (ACBI) and the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA) along with following news about the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the FACT Act. It’s because of this up to date and constant training that Lida can assure clients are provided with the most thorough reports possible.
